Glen Avon Lodge

November 2008 Warwicksire’s, England: We stayed here recently following a safari in the Kruger and a wine-tour in Stellenbosch. Glan Avon Lodge was ideally situated for the places we wished to visit during the final days of our trip to South Africa. We were very close to the gardens of Kirstenbosch, Cape Point and a 25-minute drive to Capetown and Table Mountain. We would strongly recommend this Lodge with its beautiful gardens, large luxurious rooms and, best of all, the superb quality of the gourmet dinners. Helpful competent staff ensured a memorable few days before our return to England.

June 2008 London traveller: This was my first visit to South Africa and I was absolutely amazed by the lovely surroundings and friendly staff at Glen Avon. They are in the perfect location and it took only a few minutes by car to get to most of our destinations. Our room was spotless and the bathroom was very modern. I have stayed in hotels around the world and I cannot say enough good things about this place. Highly recommened!

Summerfields Rose Retreat

23/02/09: What can I say about Summerfields except that it was an oasis, an undiscovered piece of heaven the only fault was that we didn't stay long enough. The staff were extremely attentive, the tented rooms on the river were sensational, with the roses being refreshed twice daily being the most beautiful finishing touch. The lodge was furnished to the utmost taste, the food was divine and our every whim was catered to.

03/02/09: I would like to compliment you and your staff on a wonderful stay at Summerfields this past weekend. From the minute we arrived at the gate, we felt relaxed and welcome. From the guard at the gate to the cleaning staff, they are all friendly and I believe that you have a stunning team working for you.We have been to many 5 star retreats but Summerfields are far better than the rest......WOW.....and the food!!!!!! Delicious. Next time we will have to come for a week to get to do everything.
